Haha, you can see the week 7 picture was taken on a bright, sunny day… week 9 was taken on a dark, rainy day. So I think it’s very clear that my waist is “thickening.” I’ll be happy when I finally look pregnant, with a baby bump

Hi Emily
Every morning, the first thing I think about is that I am going to be a Grandpa. The next thought is “oops”…I better hurry up and find a job because I am going to have a grandchild that needs to be spoiled. And just like you and Jeff, that spoiling process will include learning to love the northwoods. It is so hard to believe that it seems like just a few years ago that we were having so much fun going up north. I think it may be the best memories I have because I was able to watch you and Jeff experiencing such great fun and fondness for the northwoods. And now I will have a little “dickey” to share the same love and experience with. I sincerely thank both you and Steve for this fantastic opportunity.
I assume, sometime in early to mid December, we will click on your baby web site and view pictures of your swollen ankles. When that happens, I will know its time to start making my plans to spoil your baby.

Em, I love you, but you do look kinda chunky haha!
Also — I had a dream about a week ago that I was pregnant too and I’d known but still gone out drinking and was just realizing how bad that is. Then I told my mom and she took me shopping for prenatal vitamins. The end. Obviously this is because you are pregnant and I’ve been thinking about it, but I hadn’t realized my subconscious had been affected enough to dream about it! Yay for coming baby bumps!
