Quick comment… I’m watching Dave Matthews perform live on the Today Show and I miss seeing them live so much! It has been a couple years since Steve and I have gone, and we used to go every year.

Right now he’s playing Crash Into Me and I almost started crying (blame the baby!). Only because it has such memories tied to it! Before Steve and I even started dating we went to homecoming together during high school and when this song played, he sang it to me while we danced.…. and then we went to a concert (also before dating) and he kissed me (on the cheek) for the first time during this song. Awwwwww. He was so smooth, no wonder I fell for him.

And now I REALLLLY want to go to a concert. That’s it.

A thought I had in the car yesterday… I can’t wait to teach this kid to love music. DMB is on the list somewhere, but mainly: 1) Phil Collins. 2) The Who. 3) Aerosmith. 4) Led Zepp. and John Prine for my mom and Jerry Jeff Walker for my dad – but the kid will have to be in the north woods for that
