My OB was out at an emergency c-section so we saw the midwife today – who we LOVE, but our insurance only covers delivery by an OB. In and out…
Weight: 144.4, up about 1 pound
Blood pressure: 127/70 highest yet (usually 105/60 ish), but I had a stressful morning (at the funeral home) and I’m going to blame it on that
Baby’s heart rate: 136
Fundal height: 36, higher than last Friday (34) – but baby is down so may just be stretched out today
A little bit of protein in the urine, but probably because I was dehydrated – not enough water today. She told me a trick to get my rings off as my fingers are swollen and said they’ll probably get bigger and we want to get the rings off while we can (before the jeweler needs to cut them off – yikes!)
Next appt: in 1 week, Wed. Dec 2nd… I’ll be a couple days shy of 38 weeks so they might not do the check of the cervix. I might have to wait ANOTHER week, ugh. I want to know!

My brother is home for Thanksgiving 
We met with the funeral home today re: my grandpa (who has not passed yet). It sucked.
Thanksgiving dinner with just my family tonight, at the nursing home tomorrow with my mom’s family then to DH’s family dinner tomorrow night, Black Friday, and baby shower on Saturday! AH!
