I was on the plane coming back to Ohio after Thanksgiving and the lady next to me had a 9-month old baby (who had been on 12 flights already!). They had a neat little picture book. It was a cloth / plastic "baby" one but instead of the traditional animals etc. on the pages, you could put your own pictures in it. They had pictures of grandparents and aunts and uncles because they didn't live near family. Gave the baby a neat opportunity to learn family members. Good luck the next few days and I can't wait for the post with baby pictures!
