I can't believe time has gone bye so fast. Anywhoo, my little man who's about 3 weeks older does the same "pull away" thing and I feel your pain. When Murphy does it it is because he's either got to stop and burp or he's REALLY tired and is trying to stay awake to get that last bit of milk before dropping off to sleep. Hope this helps. Alyce did it because she was really full but wanted to nurse still for the comfort. Christiano did it because he is a little piggy and drains every drop, then still wants more and jerks his head around trying to get more out. This happens a lot during growth spurts. Ok, I should say it doesn't happen as much now at 11 months, but he still does it every once in awhile and it's not so comfy now that he has teeth. :) I had 2 babies who did the same thing and they were for opposite reasons. My son (who is 3 now) used to do that towards the end of his feedings too..I remember it being pretty short lived though. I chalked it up to the fact my milk supply wasn't fully established. The great mysteries of motherhood, right? LOL...anyway, he's gorgeous..enjoy him! He is a DOLL!

I love pictures of sleeping babies, so precious! Sounds like my daughter, "can’t sleep alone and loves the milk"! A bouncer is the only way I could get my daughter to sleep alone too. We actually ended up getting a nicer vibrating bouncer that would zip down from the sitting up position to laying down, and that's where she slept, next to my bed for the first couple months. She hated sleeping on her back, so it was the only thing that worked well because she would fall asleep sitting up and then I could zip it to the laying down position without moving her or waking her up!
