My newborn loves this product, of all the expensive pack ‘n plays, etc. This affordable rocker gets him to sleep for the longest periods.

Ooo I don't know! I wouldn't want a sleep sack going up around the mouth... maybe it's the style of sleep sack? Try a different one. Maybe just a swaddling blanket that you wrap around tightly so that it can't move up. Or try the Woombie - it's an awesome outfit that's snug with no arm holes so does the job of swaddling, but won't be able to ride up because it's basically like a onesie! Good luck!

Greetings!

I have the Rock N Play sleeper and have been using it in place of a bassinet. Indie seems to LOVE it! Which is great. My only concern is that when she is sleeping at night I have her wrapped in a sleep sack and once I place her in the Rock N Play, the sleep sack comes up around her mouth and I’m worried it will either suffocate her or cause a “dangerous build up of exhaled air”. Should I be concerned about this and get a regular bassinet? I’d rather keep using the Rock N Play… but of course want her to be safe. Thanks for your help!!!

Haha — my coworker thought it was a doll in that first picture! That’s part of why I love this thing… the space! He’s getting too big for his bassinet and he even fills his bouncer pretty well.

It’s only slightly inclined, he’s definitely half lying down, half sitting… he can easily sleep in it– no way he could tilt forward! Hope that helps. If you look at pictures of it on Amazon, it shows a side view of how inclined it is…

lol. the first pic make it look like the rocker is eating him! he’s just soo small.
And to me it looks like he is almost sitting up and might tilt forward…?

Ok, here's an update... I've realized that I wish it had a toy bar thing you could attach (like bouncers have) to keep him occupied when he's awake and alert... and just so you know, it doesn't rock that much. The "legs" have stoppers on them to prevent it from rocking too far and I found myself rocking it too much I guess, because I'd hit those stoppers. But it's not bad. My husband loves it because it glides across the floor really easily - so he can pull ryan around the house with him haha. Can't do that with the swing or bouncer!!

Ahhh I tried to get to review one of these things too but I was too slow and the panel closed by the time I got around to applying! Glad to hear little man likes it! Keep us posted as to how he likes it.. I may end up getting Nellie one!
