Mom's Survival Guide by Redbook: review (& giveaway)

As a member of The Product Review Place, I was sent Redbook's Mom's Survival Guide: save time, money and your sanity. I couldn't put it down as soon as I got it! I was just going to skim through it until I had more time, but there's a fun quiz at the start of the book... of course I had to take it... and then I was hooked. (BTW, I'm an "ESPN" mom according to the quiz... Steve is an "LOL mom" haha!)

This book doesn't just give you lots of tips and suggestions, but reading it makes you feel like you're not alone. "Hey! My kid does that too!" or "I feel like that all the time!" While the book is geared toward childhood and Ryan is only 4 months old, I loved reading it--you all know how I love to read and prepare! :) "In Mom’s Survival Guidemoms will find real wisdom from experts, time-tested tips from everyday moms, and helpful stories submitted by Redbook readers.”

This book helps with things like: the importance of “me time,” what to do when your child lies, dealing with “puppy love,” preparing for back-to-school, handling a public temper tantrum, tips for doing homework and standing up to a bully’s mom, eating better, and medicine myths. Just to name a FEW!

Ryan’s face TOTALLY says, “.…mom needs this book because of me.… (pout, pout)…”

This would be an AWESOME mother’s day gift… I’m definitely keeping it in mind for my future mama friends. Maybe even a gift to give the mom at the kid’s 1st birthday or baby shower.

You can buy it on Amazon for $11.53 (which is a deal because the book cover says $16.95!): Mom’s Survival Guide: Save Time, Money, and Your Sanity

Also, they were kind enough to donate a copy of this book to my fundraiser for Cora’s Story. I’m raising money for this non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising awareness about CHD (congenital heart defects). To learn more about Cora and to donate and see all the prizes you can win (including this book), go here: Cora’s Story Fundraising Giveaway.
