James Taylor and Carole King recently released a CD/DVD from their historic 2007 reunion performance in LA: Live at the Troubadour. Who ISN’T a Taylor and King fan?!

This live 2-disc set has 15 tracks including the classics “It’s Too Late,” “Carolina In My Mind,” “Sweet Baby James,” “You’ve Got A Friend,” and lots more! Taylor and King are on tour right now – so wish I could go! – and they still have plenty of tour dates left. Check them out here: James Taylor and Carole King tour.

With Taylor on guitar and King on the piano, this CD is timeless. Or pop in the DVD for the concert-experience.. it’s simply done and is beautiful. I love that I can share this music with Ryan (teach him the GOOD stuff!) and there is very little profanity, if any. In fact, I think only one song on the list contains any – much better than what’d he’d hear now on the radio! We need to raise this boy right – teaching him about all the classics! Taylor and King is definitely on the playlist.
