I can totally understand both sides of this story as a mom. Being a mom is hard work and does take up 100% of your day. However, what I discovered since becoming a mom is that often times it is easy to use your kids as an excuse for neglecting your bff. So, I think that it really comes down to how important your friendships are when it comes to staying connected. I mean we all make time blog on here and tweet all day long. Why can’t make that extra effort to shoot our friends an email or a phone call?

Best description of the difficult side of parenting. Of course there’s the loving and awesome side too and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
